Which narnia radio theatre is your favourite? Mine has to be the horse and his boy, though the magicians nephew is a close second and voyage of the dawn treader a really high 3rd
You know, I had to have a good think, and now I'll have to say the Horse and His Boy as well! Some of the effects are - as the radio theatre goes - simply stunning and I remember them vividly still, though it's been several years since I listened. I thought they did a magnificent job with the storytelling, too. 10/10 no choice but to stan.
I think to no one's surprise lol my second would be the Silver Chair? It's a little less plot-heavy with less reason for elaborate sound design, I think. But the pacing and the voice acting (Puddleglum's actor, in particular) did such a fantastic job of conveying the guilt and moral horror that are the backbone of the story.
Hi! I’m wondering- have you ever listened to the narnia radio theatre? It’s not an audiobook, but it’s kinda hard to explain. Like a dramatic reading, they have different voice actors and a narrator and sound effects! Anyways I listen to them all the time and I was wondering if you had?
Short answer: YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! akfkaadkfja;akfjdsaklsnsnsnsnnsnsns
Long answer: These are so close to my heart!! Before I was able to actually read all of the Narnia books, I had the radio theater and listened to it to fall asleep every night for years. I still hear Lewis’s prose in the narrator’s voice! So yes I love them and I think about them all the time askfdajkfl
