The scene where Steven hugs his Gem self and the amazingly animated segment thereafter was done by the wizardly animator James Baxter! My girlfriend and I identified his signature fluid antics in that whole animation! Tbh I choked up when that scene happened, so beautifully animated

The Mr. Baxter? As in, the Mr. Baxter who played a major role in Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmaron and subsequently my childhood? That Mr. Baxter? He played a hand in SU?

nope, apparently both the landlord and the dad were part of the cult but its unclear how agreeable the dad was to...yknow. the kidnapping thing. and he was bedridden when they got them out

Now normally I’d say it’d be worth it to pay full price but. It’s also on the Epic Store, who I haven’t forgiven for taking Oddworld away from me so…..

honestly i think steam is as shitty as epic personally so i dont even care abt the store. they both treat their employees like shit and exploit people. its terrible but i dont think any more of my money would go to the devs if i bought it from steam instead of epic. also im pretty sure oddworld is on steam too, at least it is for me, so if u really wanna get it from steam im p sure its there

its just kinda like. i havent not pre-ordered a pokemon game since X&Y came out. i do want to get pokemon shield tbh. and its probably a bigger priority than the outer worlds even though, realistically, i dont have time for either.

im busy and sad
