Very interesting final scene here.

First, Lingji somehow has the golden gauntlet used by the robot girls in Vier's laboratory. We don't know when this is taking place, but it would have to be within the same day, so how did Lingji get her hands on this?

This scene also implies that Lingji is acting erratically. Almost as though she had defected from the COU. Is her enemy the factions of the world? Does she want revenge against those who forced her friends to fight and kill each other?

This is just a crack theory and one I'm hesitant about so take it with a grain of salt, but could it be that Lingji's grandfather is the King of Sorrow?

In one of the beginning chapters, the King of Sorrow mentions playing on a mental tablet with his granddaughter. While it may be a throw away line or one meant to humanize him a bit, it could be foreshadowing to this moment.

It would also explain how the explosion happened. Her grandfather might have set it up with something he was carrying, though I'm unsure on how he could have escaped the blast without help from a GK.

It's tragic to watch Lingji give up the morals that had helped guide her life up until now. Because of her "talent" and birth, she's been placed on a pedestal that makes her responsible for others lives.

Momotake is also clearly thrown off by Lingji's new attitude. The doomed heteros

Is this how and why Lingji gets the Golden Gauntlet at the end of the game. Did she turn against her own country for her own justice due to being forced to participate in the Christmas Massacre? But why would she team up with the lab people? Is it just cause they took advantage of her grief and supplied her a gauntlet that didn't need to be registered to a faction?

Lingji is adorable. I myself have a love for strange and unique things and sorta just checking them out. She truly is my best girl.

I do find it interesting though that Lingji chalks up Momotake's overprotective nature as one triggered by her father. This both reinforces my idea that Lingji is high up in the caste system and that she comes from a traditional family.

Though this does bring up the question if Momotake is under orders from her father. I'm pretty sure he's not, just astronomically down bad, but it's a bit sad that Lingji can't see that. She can't even conceive of Momotake liking her, she just thinks her family is trying to "protect" her.
