What would you think if the writers pulled a fast one and had Judas not immediately die from the hanging? Instead, he was taken down and rejoices when he hears rumors of Jesus resurrection before soon dying of his neck injury.

As to this one, considering that Judas’ betrayal of Jesus and his fate is a well known part of the Gospels, I don’t see the show runners changing it from what’s in the Bible.
Would it be interesting to see? Yes. Would it make an interesting fic? Yes. But do I personally see it happening? No. And I feel like showing something like this would get a mixed bag of reactions. Some would like it and some wouldn’t. And I just can’t see Dallas and the crew doing something like this in my opinion given that they try to stick to what’s written in the Bible as much as possible.
