Denver was munching on salmon-covered crackers when she noticed Link. She swallowed what was in her mouth, not about to look rude in front of a victor she had only interacted with once, but not about to pass up the opportunity to make small talk with her.
"Hey there," Denver said. "I'm not sure if you remember me, but I'm Denver, I work in the Tower." Work. Present tense. It frustrated Denver to no end that she hadn't been promoted yet and she was going to have to work the kiosk for another Games. She'd had the highest KPIs of the entire team, including her manager. It made no sense. She knew she would do so well working her way up in the museum archives. All she needed was the chance. But all she had right now were crackers and small talk.
