Link was running so fast that he almost tripped over his own feet and rolled down the slope of the meadow. It had begun to rain and the heavy droplets got his face, hair and clothes wet in an instant. The ground turned muddy and Link almost slipped again. He didn’t want to get caught outside during a thunderstorm, especially not a metal shield on his back. The sky crackled angrily over him and Link made a beeline towards the cave in the mountain in front of him.
Hopefully this place wasn’t taken by a bear. Or worse. He panted and placed his palm on the cave wall as he caught his breath. Link squinted and tried to see further inside but it was dark. Either there was a whole tunnel ahead of him or he was the only one in here.
