Reupload of art drawn for Cat Day 2022. My FFXIV wolship as kittehs. On the whole drawing human chars as animals is an art crutch I'm trying to get away from, but honestly I'm still really happy with this one :]

I’m a tad late for Cat Day but I DID start it on the 22nd, so that’s good enough for me!  Also I really did try to draw something other than WoLship (Aymeric actually!), promise haha, but you know how it goes…

There’s several iffy spots in it still, but I liked it enough to outweigh ‘em and I had fun with the background and shading in particular.  Also I think cat!G’raha’s face turned out pretty well all things considered!  (def better than Lio’s XD next time I’m gonna try to find some better ref for that kind of wonky angle)

Been playing a ludicrous amount of FFXIV lately, and so I’ve been meaning to draw my character now for a while!  Especially with Shadowbringers rapidly approaching - where my smol angry Lalafell will finally be able to fulfill her dream of being a tol angry rabbit. 8) I’m saving my free ARR fantasia specifically for that x’D

Leukos | The Ultimate Lightwarden

Reupload from 2019, shortly after I finished Shadowbringers. Still really love this design tbh. The only thing I might change now is the name, as I really like the common "Agape" headcanon and it fits better with the Lightwarden naming scheme.

Wanted to hop on the bandwagon and try drawing my WoL as a Sin Eater, with a stick-Elezen for scale xD I like nightmare-fuel monsters so wanted to try a creepier/more morbid take on it! (no hate for the more glorious/angelic interpretations though, those are awesome!) Leukos would have a very sun-bleached feel to it in person, as if excess exposure to light had burned out all the color.  Walking is also difficult due to the awkward proportion of its limbs, and Leukos lacks severely in grace.   Voice/sound-wise, it’s a bit of a mix between Vicar Amelia from Bloodborne and Vaal Hazak from Monster Hunter World.

Don’t let the spindly-ness of those claws fool you - they can punch through solid rock, and break off/fragment in a wound like porcupine quills. They also regenerate very quickly so any claw breakage wouldn't slow it down.

With every outfit that Square Enix un-gender-locks, my GNC WoL grows stronger. Soon...soon she shall be unstoppable...

After Endwalker Lio starts wearing a mask (specifically the Allagan cyborg-y-looking pvp one) to try to avoid recognition, but this patch has been extremely funny/unfortunate because everyone recognizes her anyway (partially because of the company she keeps)

Some random shopkeeper she was trying to buy groceries from:  “Omg it’s you!!  The Warrior of Light/Liberator of Ala Mhigo/Hero of Thavnair/[Twelve know what else]!!”
