For many reasons I couldn’t have been more excited for the closing of this property in Elmhurst this past Monday. This was my first “Covid” listing, set to hit the market when the outbreak began. We knew we had some challenges ahead of us with the uncertainty of how buying and selling real estate during a pandemic would play out. With stay at home orders in place, we quickly adjusted our marketing plan and dove in to selling homes virtually. We cancelled our open house and replaced it with a virtual tour of the property hosted by @cglowrealtor and myself. A couple days later we did Facetime/ live showings to potential buyers and within days had the property under contract. 12 days from active to under contract with every safety precaution possible in place to protect the health and well being of clients, associates, and myself. Many E signatures, recorded inspections, and zoom meetings later we began the new closing process not a day later than expected. If there is a will there is always a way. Congratulations to my sellers, The Scott Family, on the sale of your first home. Thank you for trusting in me to follow through as promised and being so open minded at such a crazy time in our lives.
