I knew the time would come when I would venture into c-dramas, but i was super hesitant cause i thought they would be a bit cheesy. But omg i've just spent about 10 hours watching story of yanxi palace. I just can't stop, i'm genuinely addicted. And there's 70 episodes of this??? i can't believe i've been denying myself for so long. I absolutely to watch more after this. I've heard of Nirvana in Fire and just found out about the legend of haolan which apparently has the exact same cast. which sounds absolutely banger to me. Can't wait to get to those at some point but for now i need more of this show injected into my brain

lol… i’ve always said that we need to do more in terms of teaching old people how to recognize a scam, but after seeing that tik tok of the girl who spent $800 on baby supplies for a random woman asking her for help in a target i’m starting to think maybe young people could benefit from those kinds of lessons more than i originally thought
