Red is hanging out in a pokemon center when the two walk in, he had been talking to nurse joy, thanking her for healing his pokemon, and asking if he could hang out for the night. Pika looked up and at the trainer and his little sister, bouncing off of Red hat and walking over.
“Pika?” Red hummed, turning around quickly. The champion of kanto isn’t exactly a thing you see everyday i’m guessing. But he looks pretty amused “Oh, hey there!” he gave a smile, going over and picking up his pikachu “Im guessing you came to get your pokemon healed? Get that done and then come talk to me, ill give you some items” he winked slightly, going over and sitting on a couch
