Dev Log Update! - Full Article at Little Daisy Cafe

- The voice cast list is up!

- The script underwent a lot of final revisions and refinement.

- Storyboard work has begun!

- Meanwhile, the background designers (Newt and Frog!) have been building reference models and working out visual scene details, like the speakeasy bar above.

- Character design is moving along on multiple fronts - above are some of Tai’s character explorations of overall design and mouth shapes for dialog animation, plus my accompanying notes. Zib’s eyebrow mechanics needed some explaining. (Ultimately, all of the characters will have full turnarounds - this is just a step along the way).

The Lackadaisy Animation Dev Log

Hey! The Dev Log updated earlier this week with some peeks at development, including some 3D work we’re using for planning, some experiments with Grease Pencil and uh, a dinosaur. (Car model by Newt!)

Additionally, because we’re still receiving inquiries about ways to contribute to the project (thank you!!) now that the Kickstarter has wrapped, and because we’d still love to hit that Music Video Stretch Goal, we’ve set up a PayPal. Lastly, to be clear, the final film will be shared openly (likely on YouTube)! The fact that an HD download (DVD burn quality) of the film is available as a backer reward at some tiers seems to have caused some confusion in that area.
