We officially have small dogs folks! Gone are the newborn puppy days, now they are barking, eating solids, playing with toys and running amok!

Natalie Wood, Greta Garbo, James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Boris Karloff, Sophia Loren, Audrey Hepburn, Charlie Chaplin, Cary Grant, Fay Wray.

Alright fam. This is the last Little Doggar update!

Everyone has been adopted! Last to go were Marilyn and Sophia. Marilyn went from all white to a piebald cream! Boris was adopted by his foster family.

Our next adventure will be a bit different. The owner of a nearby puppy mill died in a car accident and our rescue took in seven dogs. The one we are getting is feral, and pregnant. So we will see how that works out! Maybe I’ll do a J name theme if we have multiples for you guys.

It has been so fun updating you guys on this litter. Maybe one day my wife will let me foster my own litter, instead of having it an my moms next door! Thank you all for your interest and support!

Here we go! Tumblr wasn’t letting me reblog or post! Update on pups shortly!

Pictured are #9,#6, #4 and #5.

Everyone seems to be doing ok. I went to bed at 3:30 am when my shift with them ended. We may have to hand feed some but as of now everyone is fighting for the milk bar and are learning to scream about it!

We are most concerned with #3, #4, #6 and #7. #3(Marilynn) looks to be albino and in this breed that could mean she is deaf or blind or both. So as her senses develop we have to see if she has them.

#4(Natalie), #6(Sophia) and #7(Fay) are all babies. I am calling them #littledoggars. I hope you all get the reference lol. But we are rotating feedings on mom so we will take the fat pups and put them in a basket and let the little doggars eat alone for about 10 minutes before adding the big ones back.

All is well and everyone made it through the night. Mom is eating and drinking again!

Update on the Little Doggars and Milly!

A week or so ago we said goodbye to Milly and the Little Doggars. They have since gone a few hours away to their permanent foster home. Milly is super happy and Ruby, the last dog in our rescue to have puppies who was adopted by her foster family, has now become a sistermom. She was helping clean up the pups by the end of the first day.

The Little Doggars are in a great season of life where they are experiencing all the little miracles a puppy could enjoy. From food, to toys, to grass. They are growing bigger and stronger every day and in a week or so I will be going to visit them!

One last Little Doggar update!

Boris Karloff is now Buford. Charlie Chaplin. Audrey Hepburn cuddling with her new brother Rocco. Sophia Loren, now Mila. Marilyn Monroe and Natalie Wood owned by two different families who are friends, so they see each other often. Now named Maci and Marley. James Dean. Cary Grant. And mama Millie in her new home with her new sibling.
