Kitty update: They slept soundly all night with no vomiting or diarrhea, and as soon as the sun was coming up they were playing and being silly. They just ate a nice healthy breakfast, though Maxwell is still a little iffy on food and he doesn't like the chicken and rice as much as Ashley does.

GREEN: Who was the first person you came out to? What is the story?

yeah so freshman year of high school im 14 im sitting with my friend group at lunch and someone i guess decided we should all say how we identify. and when it was my turn, one friend pointed at me and was like “straight, right?” and i said “actually i think i’m bi” and that was the first time i ever said it. this happened just after i had 1) daydreamed about kissing a random girl while listening to evanescence and 2) realized i was in unrequited love w my best friend. after that i made a point of coming out to everyone at school and my family it didnt go well with my mom and stepdad. the gender stuff i didnt start to realize until i was like 17, i didnt think i counted as trans enough for a long time. i first started talking about that w some people on tumblr and a couple friends, then my dad and stepmom who were cool abt it. i tried making a long facebook post explaining my gender identity and some ppl in my family tried to respect it but i think a lot of them kinda.. willfully forgot about it. anyway these days im extremely out as being bi but i dont rlly talk about my gender experience until i get to know someone.
