Idk i guess it depends on the post-game universe adopted in the narrative? I haven't gotten to read much fic lately so idk I haven't gotten to think about this lately... But I like "trolls are aliens that are generally peacefully cohabiting earth for some reason, technology is good & the timelines have merged & everyone is happy/alive". No roughing it in a shitty new universe because I hate roughing it & I don't read stories to think about sad camping??? Uh, anyway, Jane is a Life player so if hybrids are viable (I think Hussie mentioned somewhere outside of the story that u could make a hybrid thru ectobiology but he's kind of a douche), then I like in-vitro implantation of a hybrid fetus so she can experience the Horrifying Miracle of LIFE herself. OR!!! my fav: a troll w/ strong/serendipitous “mono-quadromantic” (if the Signless and the Disciple could then Yes We Can!) feelings for a human partner w/ a uterus, uh, impregnates them. sex is cool in fic, maybe? (not irl stay sin-free kids). uh, im not going into “kinks i like to see” here tho so i’ll leave the circumstances up in the air.
Gamzee cries more than Jane does during her labor (Jane gets an epidural anyway) and he continues to eat food more disturbing than any pregnancy craving can fathom. He's freaked out by the pregnancy at first but eventually decides that he thinks Jane is extra-cute when she's preggo-chubby and extra pitiable, too. They have probably been living together, or married, or w/e the fic calls for, for a few years before Gamzee gets baby fever and Jane wholeheartedly agrees. He likes babies because they remind him of the cherubs. Who's baby does the thing? Idk, none of the trolls talk to Gamzee much anymore (except Aradia probably - she's a reasonable lady who understands the finality of their actions... possibly Eridan & Feferi b/c they had separate Dramas), so it's prob johnroxy or jadekat (or even a jadefef or jadetav, my secret favs(!!!)), y'know, someone who he saw at a Crocker-Egbert-Harley-English family gathering and went "oh shit what the fuck is that succinct motherfucker laid out to snooze on the multi-person reclining platform??" "That's a baby."I love domesticity AUs (b/c I will likely never have a spouse so I live gratuitously thru this), so Jane breeds fancy dogs or chickens or bunnies in her spare time, and Gamzee keeps bringing home filthy wild animals, mostly mountain goats, but sometimes boars or wild cats. The baby would be either PHOEBE or TETHYS, named after a moon of Saturn, because Saturn is the Capricorn planet. I picked those because they have 6 letters and I'm still not sure how I headcanon the phenotype of hybrids to present (it varies, yknow). I didn't consider any “boy” names because I...uh, don't care about boys tbh. She emulates a lot of Gamzee’s bad habits because she thinks it’s funny, but is perkier and more active in being consciously weird, in the line of Jane’s potent prankster skillz. shes ok at baking, but shes great at grilling and barbecuing. if she has horns they are probably bunny-ear-like or mustache-like (like a water buffalo?), unless she completely inherits Gamzee’s horns... Black, slightly manageable hair and...idk, there’s just so many options for skintone/eyecolor/blood color/etc. when you consider everything!!!
