William pretended that it was his watch his was adjusting before slipping in to the back door of Freddy’s. In actuality, had anyone been around to see him, they would’ve noticed his appearance shift just slightly. A little tonal adjustment and the stupid animatronics here wouldn’t see him as a threat, or even as another human. Of course, the one that Kamilla built might see through the guise, but, well, at least there was no one else around.

Except the guard. But it was Kamilla’s guard, and if they were smart, they wouldn’t say anything to him.

He didn’t even stop by the security office but instead wandered into the main pizzeria. Hopefully he could get a glimpse of Kamilla’s works in progress.

Alexander sighed. Finally, he could go home. It had been a long night. That Puppet thing almost got him.

Speaking of...

He had one last thing he wanted to do.

Getting up from his cluttered desk, he grabbed his flashlight and tossed some new batteries in-that little shit statue had taken the other ones earlier.

Right as he was about to leave the office, though, he stopped.

...He couldn't believe that he had just thought that.

"Christ, I need some coffee," he mumbled, before setting off for the prize corner.
