We had some parallels from previous seasons show up in tonight’s episode:

The horses & carriage from Roanoke show up in all their feathered regalia.

Evan Peters is stripped & hosed down like in Asylum (correct me if I’m wrong)

Leslie’s character also wants some Starbucks like in Cult. She also gets slapped in the face like in Cult but this time by Sarah Paulson.

The top floor where the “purples” (the elites) are is very similar to the Roanoke house top floor (where the little girl was playing hide & seek).

There were two fabulous staircases, one in Joan Collins house & one in the “fallout shelter” in keeping with the AHS inc staircases in every season.

Adina Porter plays a TV host - in Roanoke she ends up on TV interviewed by Billie Dean & in Cult she’s a TV reporter.
