ZZ Top "Live in Germany, 1980" 2xLP. I'm gonna preface this by stating I'm not much of a ZZ Top fan. I respect them, enjoy their 80's hits, and the "Tres Hombres" album but that's about it. However, a few years back I stumbled on video of their performance of "La Grange" on German TV show Rockpalast from 1980 and it blew my fucking socks off!! It was so mean and raw. Just balls out awesome. They were so tight! This UK release is sourced from that performance which also includes a smoking version of "Cheap Sunglasses" but sadly omits "Just Got Paid" which is a huge bummer because Billy Gibbons' slide work on that cut is awe inspiring. Even worse, its now even hard to find that performance on YouTube.
