upon opening her eyes she could notice the change immediately, feel the change. the salvatore school had always felt imbued with magic like magic was almost floating in the air, but it was stronger now. she felt her heart beating in her chest as a twinge of hope grew within her. had they done it? had they managed to escape the sword above their heads? grabbing lizzie’s hand she squeezed gently almost checking to see if she was there. “ did it work? did the spell work? ”
