just as the Himalayas are the northern border of land of India- the peninsula doesn't end just where you can cut a straight triangle from the mouths of the Indus to Ganges- the Arabia's northern border is not a straight line from the Gulf of Sinai to the mouths of the Tigris & Euphrates, but rather the Euphrates itself, and the Levant proper, form the land of Arabia's northern border. otherwise said, Arabia is what is within and south of the concavity of the Fertile Crescent.
