How I think they should introduce Laia into the Sun and Moon Show...
(if they did decide to make her canon)
So, Terra's treat business is going well... at first... but then some new bakery opens up near The SunShiner diner (Sun's restaurant), and that bakery starts stealing Terra's customers.
So, to help their sister, Sun and Moon decide to investigate this new business to see what they are doing differently.
While Moon goes to investigate, Sun accidentally bumps into the animatronic mascot of the bakery, Laia Cotton!
Sun apologizes, and him and Laia talk for a bit. Sun kind of ends up forgetting why he came there in the first place.
Now, I could see this going one of two ways
1. Sun falls hard and immediately
2. Sun likes her, but it takes him a while to realize he is in love with her even though it's extremely obvious to everyone but Sun and Laia
(Which ever one would be funniest/they feel like doing)
Now, Sun would be torn between helping his sister with her business and wanting to keep this budding relationship with Laia.
They could keep Laia's story arc of her not really knowing just how much free will she has as an animatronic.
Plus, I think it would be fun if Earth/Terra and Laia had a fun rivalry. I feel like the banter between Terra and Laia would be fun, and Terra bantering with Sun about his crush on Laia.
It would be so fun if she was canon. Laia is one of my favorite fanmade characters in this franchise.
And heck, if Chat Blanc(Miraculous) and Killy Willy(Poppy Playtime) can become canon then maybe Laia will too.

I want a cute little anime girl who has comical and violent period issues. I want her to run out of pads and the bathroom
is out of dispensers and she elaborately sneaks into the mens bathroom disguised before realizing they don’t have tampons there.
I want her to wake up in a comically large pool of blood at a sleepover and knock out the guys as they’re waking up so she and her squad of cute anime girls can plot to replace and/or get the bed cleaned and it ends up almost destroying the universe somehow.
I want a cute anime girl to be in a public bathroom with some chick just fucking sobbing in the next stall over for some reason and she’s trying not to make any noise but opening a pad/tampon wrapper is like the same as a nuke going off.
