“--I’m rude now.”
☔️ from llaserdiscs!
It’s pouring out and my muse is caught in the rain without an umbrella. Send ☔️ to share your muses umbrella with mine.
For someone who was soaked to the bone with rain and had eyeliner streaming down his face, Damien looked, and was, perfectly calm and content. He hadn’t planned on going on one of his trademark mid-storm walks that night, as evidenced by the fact that he was wearing makeup at all– and that he wasn’t carrying an umbrella, but when the rain came down in a heavy sheet in the middle of his standard nighttime wandering, he wasn’t of a mind to care all that much. The only problem, really was that it was so cold out that night; summer showers were always better for this sort of thing.
Standing out in the open so that the water can better wash over him, Damien blinks his eyes open in surprise when the flow of raindrops suddenly stops. Sure enough, there’s an umbrella above him, and he only has to turn about halfway around to see its owner.
“Oh,” he says, and his voice crackles from not having spoken in so long. Clearing his throat, he tries again. “Hello, Richard. Are you out on a walk tonight as well?”
