Gilbert himself had glasses, but he refused to wear them as he thought he looked quite ridiculous with them on. However, glasses suited Matthew quite well, Gilbert thought. He had an overwhelming urge to touch them, and while he usually was more disciplined surely there was no harm in doing this. Thus, Gilbert’s hand shot forward, reaching for the thin metal frame of Matthew’s glasses, but retracted his hand quickly as a sharp, but not terrible, pain hit his hand, and Gilbert pouted at the other man.
