He’s just come back from a run to the corner shop, because Harry insisted that he needed a tin of green beans. Why he needs a tin of green beans, Louis hasn’t a clue, but he’s learned that it’s better to act first and ask questions later when it comes to Harry, or else nothing will ever get done. “Harry!” Louis yells as he comes in the front door. It sticks a little when he tries to turn his key. That’s a fun thing to learn about this house. “I got your tin! Do you even have a way to open it? We haven’t unpacked the kitchen!” There’s no answer from Harry, no sound at all except for a faint scratching that Louis chalks up to the tree growing out front, its branches braced up against the windows. Or, Louis and Harry have moved into a new (old) house. And it happens to be Halloween.
