@svcletterpress is offering virtual classes and I’m delighted to be included (along with @brunopress and other printers coming soon!) __________ “Long-Distance Letterpress: Daredevil Typesetting” will focus on typesetting and printing techniques that move beyond straight lines and right angles to set type that curves, loops, and bounces. We’ll explore both traditional methods of employing circular and angle quads, as well as tools adapted from the hardware store for manipulating type. We’ll also employ laser-cut Daredevil Furniture and see how the sets can work together on flatbed and platen presses. Several demos will be completed, then snail mailed to participants.
