Having lost Cassie somewhere between the crowd and the bar, Lexie found herself searching for the one man who had recently turned into the bane of her existence. Finding him casually leaning on the railing of the first floor with few other people, she slowly made her way up the stairs until he was all by himself with his back turned towards her. “Both!” She told him in reply to the question from his earlier text. “I met them both, Micah and Kade and all they had was a few annoyingly harmless questions. But what I wanted to say was--” And right then he turned around, letting her brown eyes lock on to his blue ones, reminding the witch of a couple of adularia moonstones staring right back at her in the low light. “Hi... for a minute, I thought I was stood up by my date down there!” She continued in a soft voice with her lips curving up in a smile.
