These dreams are my insanity | Logan & Evelyn
Logan felt more emotionally drained than just exhausted on this particular day. He'd conversed with so many people which he wasn't entirely used to. It wasn't that the male didn't like talking to anyone, he did, he liked being talked to. He just always felt so disappointed that his brain could barely fathom up a good sentence to make him sound like more than just a kid who got nightmares.
Logan had seated himself comfortably on a leather couch, the fabric beginning to fray and split in multiple places. He paced his finger tips over the sharp edge of the fabric next to him, beginning to grip on bits of the frayed fabric and pulling them off. He threw the straggled ends on the floor below him before deciding he should probably not ruin the couch more than it already was. The boy slid himself down the couch, resting his head on the arm of it. The ceiling above him was still reasonably fresh looking from the renovation of the building. He noticed a patch near the chimney bricks that had started turning black, fading out in to grey from the fires that were lit on cold nights. Upon dragging his hazy vision over the darkened ceiling he hadn't realised that his body had dozed in to a heavy state. He was no longer studying the roof above him but was now staring in to his own eyelids, body and mind falling asleep.
"Watch her body burn away, Logan." The voice that was identical to his own echoed through his dream; ringing has he poured the acid on to his sisters frail and bleeding body. The confusion between whether he'd poured the acid in to his own eye or whether he was just crying so much became unknown to him. Before he could remember what his sister body looked like, mutilated or not, he realised it was his own eyes seeping with acid, vision fading away. The last sight that was known was Benjamin's gleeful face, throwing the acid at Logan. Logan was screaming manically as he hit his head against the back of the couch, his eyes tearing at the sockets of his eyes, causing pools of blood to well above his cheeks from his nails tearing. His voice curdled as he screamed, bashing his knees against the couch back while his body rolled and panicked.
