"Mr. Spock?"
[ Ariadne was huffing from running, just slightly. It was a big deal to be trusted to get a critical piece of tech back to the First Officer, and she had finished two hours ahead of schedule, isolating the problem far faster than she had thought she would.
To say she was pleased with herself was fairly accurate. ]

"Oi, you there! What are you doing?"
Why yes, he did just bail out of a moving vehicle in order to yell at you.
Darcy's hands were shaking from the effort of holding the valve in place while Jane frantically ran from one side of the lab to the other. The entire lab was on lock down, the code echoing through the building. Tony was shouting just beyond the door at the two of them to get out of the blast radius but Darcy and Jane knew that with the doors locked that would be impossible anyways and containing this thing would likely save the building and maybe downtown Manhattan.
Darcy's eyes flicked up just as the blackness started to form in the room. She let go of the valve and tackled Jane to the side, pressing her roughly into the corner and jerking the heaviest object she could in front of the confused and fighting Astrophysicist. She felt her body yank back and suddenly her feet were no longer under her. There was no ground to stand on. Her arms were reaching for Jane or someone but the only thing she could see was Tony pounding violently on the window and Jane huddled into the corner.
All the air was violently pushed from her lungs as she was dragged into the black hole. Darcy knew that this would generally mean she was dying. People didn't survive being pulled into a black hole. Nobody did, right? For one long terrifying moment that felt like an eternity in it's wholeness she was nowhere and everywhere. Very suddenly she could feel air rush back into her lungs. She started coughing violently, landing on her hands and knee's. Her eyes were still pressed shut so she figured someone had saved her from her fate. "Tony, that was stupid and dangerous. You could have-" she cut off when she looked up and realized she was not in the tower. "Well, shit."
