Feeling the urge to write Waterloo Road fanfiction (specifically reboot fics centred on Preston) cause I'm starting to grow obsessed over the show...
shout out to trans waterloo road characters. all surprisingly well done
(for the most part. i do actually like kacey's 'detransition' – i like how supported they are and how it's left open for them to decide when they're older who they want to be. they're encouraged to feel safe to explore their identity and be whatever feels right at the time without any expectation of solid labels. yes it probably could have been handled better but i think it was pretty cool. it isn't "oh I was wrong" it's "I don't know and that's okay")
