On this Laugardar (Lokedagr), I bring you some marvelous Loki headcanons. They will be posted on Saturdays, but I can't guarantee every Saturday. If you'd like to see a drabble based on one of these, send an ask or message my way.
Despite his disdain for Midgardians, Loki still appreciates Classical music and Renaissance-era art. He will not tolerate modern music, such as pop, punk, screamo, etc. To him, this is simply "ear murder" music.
Loki finds solace in bookstores and museums... well, at east until he visits the Viking display and sees the Viking's grotesque depiction of him. He would either throw a tantrum or silently "upgrade" the statuette/illumination.
He owns a black cat whom he affectionately calls Lokitty, Prince of Asgard and Heir to the Throne. His shape-shifting nature often has people wondering if they are petting a real cat or Loki transformed into a cat. Loki relishes in people's confusion and loves to keep them guessing.
He once gave catnip to Freya's cats to see if the herb would affect them the same way in which it affected their Midgardian counterparts. Spoiler alert: it did. They were too stoned to pull Freya's chariot, and she had to use Thor's goats instead. Freya was livid, but when she confronted Loki about it, he had absolutely no idea of what she was talking about.
Loki might have come to respect Dr Strange for his talent in magic, if Dr Strange had only offered him a cup of tea instead of MAKING HIM FALL FOR THIRTY MINUTES. Unfortunately, his previous attacks on Midgard would have made any sort of friendship between them impossible.
Loki gets nightmares, and because of his deep connection to magic, they can cause him to subconsciously revert to his Jotunn form. The air around him would become impossibly cold, and frost would form in dusty tendrils on the surfaces around him...
Lastly, Loki would most definitely attach knives to a Roomba. Or several hundred Roombas. And then release them in a crowded office.
