This will be my third year showing at Spring 1883 with LON Gallery, running 11-14 September at the Establishment Hotel Sydney. 

Through its intervention into a hotel’s context, SPRING 1883 sees the traditional art fair model replaced with a boutique site for dialogue and interaction between galleries, artists and collectors. Conceived by galleries for galleries, participation in SPRING1883 is through personal invitation, allowing the project to evolve out of shared conceptual engagements.

'Edibles' is the latest curatorial project by Melbourne based artist, gallerist and curator Adam Stone at St Heliers Gallery at Abbotsford Convent running from 30 May to 23 June.  This playful exhibition charts the phenomenon of a number of artists, both locally and internationally, incorporating elements of foods, particularly fruit in their artworks. Genetic modification, consumption habits, diets, branding, re-branding, marketing and symbolism become points of departure for these artists' works. The exhibition includes works by Lauren Dunn, Grace Wood, Adam Stone and David Attwood.
