“Oh hello young colt,” The yellow mare greeting the stallion with a smile “You must be Quick, oh Cloud has told me so much about you, she said you’d be visiting, unfortunately she’s just nipped to the store for me, she’ll be back soon, would you like to come in, sweetie?”
She stepped to one side to invite the stallion in and smiled kindly to him “Dusty, Cloud’s father, is in the living room, just head in there and I’ll put the kettle on.”

Dear Diary,
I had a bit of a break down today, I had had that bad dream again about the time when I was young, it can’t seem to go away and it scares me. Luckily, Quick came over and got me out of my pit, he does that you know, helps cheer me and talks to me, he’s a great friend like that.
We played some video games, I won of course and we had something hot to drink and he took me out on a walk, I think I needed that. I sometimes can’t believe I have such good friends.
I really need to remind myself to do something for Quick, he’s done so much for me after all.

Cloud giggled and gave him a little push playfully before smiling with a reply “You big dope, Quick!” she turned over and gave him a playful kiss on the head too before laughing and giving him a bat of her wings “You’re a big softy you are, you couldn’t fool anyone!”

She had no choice; she started rambling, her thoughts spilling out as soon as they came across her mind. “You--You really expect me to choose just one thing? He’s such a wonderful stallion: kind, considerate, and... He’s wonderful with Ariel, and I just know that we could have the kind of family that I would have had with--”
For a strained minute, the Earth mare resisted the compulsion to utter the rest. It was useless, of course, but this question was getting a little too painful all of a sudden. “--We could have the kind of family I could have had with Chrome Spirit, if he hadn’t passed away.”
With a shuddering breath, she continued, “And I guess, if I had to pick just one thing, it would be how caring Quick is. I’m so used to having to take care of Ariel and Nano that... it’s nice to be the one being cared for, for once.”

1. Your first OC ever? The earliest one I can remember was basically a self insert Danny Phantom OC. I can’t even remember the details, but I know originally she was gonna be Danny’s cousin or something because I got kinda jealous when the show did it lol. Looking back, it’s really embarrassing how obsessed I was with that show lol. 15. Do you like to talk about your OCs with other people? Galatea was merely sitting there, watching over the small filly sleeping peacefully. The mare herself looked worn out, almost listless, and yet for some reason she was still awake.
When Quick walked in, she turned her weary gaze towards him, trying and failing to give the stallion a little smile. When she spoke, it was in a whisper so as not to wake Ariel.
“I, uh--I couldn’t sleep,” she said simply. Galatea didn’t bother to explain the nightmare she’d just had, nor why she was by Ariel’s side rather than in bed. She was just... tired.
