weird question but what’s your thoughts on perma preg (permanent pregnancy), or perma preg mixed with hyper preg

essentially the idea that someone is stuck getting knocked up over and over and over again, and because they keep getting more kids pumped into them they dont have a chance to go into labour, simply keep growing.

world where due dates are just an indicator of when the baby is technically developed enough that it COULD be born. but the baby could be born any time after that. it could be exactly on the due date, it could be a few days later, it could be months later. nobody actually knows.

world where it's normal to be 3, 6, 9 months overdue. hugely pregnant, full of a baby that's perfectly ready to come out, but you're just not going into labor. where you can't schedule maternity leave for your due date because you actually have no idea when you'll give birth. where you can only go on maternity leave once you're actually in labor.

world where giving birth on your due date is weird and "early". technically the baby is developed enough, it's ready to come out, there won't be any health issues. but it's awfully small, only 10 lbs. it was such a short pregnancy, only 42 weeks. you barely even got to experience pregnancy! you should've really taken birth suppressants for a few weeks just to make sure.
