Tuesday 1: sent the newspaper bill, 17s 4d, to friend Thingham of Nettlebed.
Wednesday 2: Mrs. A has a bad cold, and is very unwell.
Ned Hayward, brother to the Long Wittenham Squire called upon me at the Office, quite hard up. His visit called to mind the many pleasing reminiscences of the Rural Life I passed during my residence at Long Wittenham, Berkshire.
