Meanwhile, in the classic material crate, we got a couple of dudes from France who set out to find legendary composer Galt Macdermot and made a much applauded Galt-focused web series into a full length doc. If you don't know Galt, he's been sampled by hundreds of hip hop artists like Pete Rock, Large Professor, Snoop, Busta, Dead Prez, Buckshot, Oh No, Madlib, Masta Ace, Nas, The Beatnuts and J Dilla to name a few.

Splendide intro du docu Lookin4Galt, qui sera mis en ligne en intégralité sur Dailymotion vendredi 21/12. 

Pitch : Il a composé Hair, la B.O la + vendue de tous les temps, a été multi-samplé par la génération Rap, et pourtant il vit reclus quelque part dans New York. Refusant toute interview, il semble ignorer le culte dont il fait l’objet... Son nom ? Galt MacDermot. 

C'est la bande de Gasface derrière la chose, on leur doit déjà le chouette docu New York Minute soutenu par Arte, et ça fait bien envie.
