OK, so that's an official wrap on A Realm Reborn (yes I know about the post-patch quests, but this is where the credits were so I count it). I did quite like it! It had a few moments that really did stand out, like the Waking Sands massacre, though there was also quite a lot of, well. Faffing about. I think ultimately it felt structural, like it's acting as scaffolding on which the 5? 6? Current expansions will be built. One reason it seems like this is I feel like Cid is the only character among the Scions who really got any fleshing out at all? So I'm looking forward to seeing where they go with the characters from here now that they've established them.
