I never realized how similar these four characters are, in a way survivor thinks like five pebbles because the creature is desperate to find a solution. That solution for survivor is to have a family again, even if it means to ascend. While Monk only wants nothing more than to find a way to see them again, sort of like moon comforting five pebbles after everything that’s happened. Sibling reunions are just so beautiful.
