it would probably have to be midnights…. but in terms of energy it would be 1989 because i am firmly in my 1989 era and i did listen to it obsessively all summer. i also got really into back to black. and also nelly furtado’s loose album for reasons i cannot explain.

3. Favorite musical artist / group you started listening to this year?

rina!! i actually wasn’t crazy about the whole hold the girl album but her releases this year got me into her whole discography and she’s made some absolute bangers

i honestly don’t watch a ton of movies but my favorite release was probably everything everywhere all at once
