((I... actually don't have a headcanon for the Black Eye Orb of all things .-. I actually toyed around with this idea before though, since before he met Ana, I'm guessing he would have lost his motivation to keep going, and probably would have preferred death. But after meeting her would have probably been a different story, since now he's devoted to keeping her alive one way or another, thus giving him another reason to keep on fighting and surviving ))
