//so before the whole incident with lugia’s tower, ho oh actually had a good friendship with lugia (i know it’s fucking crazy right), like he didnt care if lugia would randomly visit him and stuff like he wasn’t bothered by it... and then brass tower gets burned down and ho oh’s kids die. he was in a huge state of grief (despite reviving them) and he said a lot of things to lugia that he shouldnt have. he blamed him for not trying to go in there and save them (even though ho oh didnt know if he even tried for sure or not) and he was just upset and livid and a complete wreck... he didn’t take lugia’s feelings into account (since he lost his tower, he probably felt super shitty id imagine) and i feel like that’s how ho oh ended up getting fucked up. he said mean shit in a fit of grief and anger and got attacked for it.... good times
