I have cough syrup, yes. But I ran out of honey ages ago-- apparently I'm sick a lot more often than I remember. I'd love for you to come over but I'm not too keen on the idea of you starting off the new year nursing a cold as well.

Jihoonie! I’m awfully late with the thank you note, aren’t I? Anyway! I had to take a five-minute break from opening my gifts when I saw that first one from you. You really got me that flying squirrel onesie that you said you would. You’re the best, you know that? And the ear muffs! I haven’t worn ear muffs since I broke my old pair, but now my ears will be nice and toasty during this cold winter, heh. And there you go again, buying me jewellery. Not that I’m complaining, of course. You have such exquisite taste. I hope you’re not too busy this holiday season, I’ll thank you in person soon too! I love you.

"Ah, alright, alright!" He held his hands up in defeat, grinning at the expression on her face. "What muffing would you like, miss? Anything else I can make you happy with?"
"Double chocolate." She leaned back in her seat, crossing her arms with a satisfied grin. "And you're more than welcome to get me a latte to go with the muffin."
Taking an exaggeratedly deep breath, he slowly turned around, his eyes squinted behind the lenses of his glasses as his gaze found her. "Am I really supposed to handle this?" He shook his head before a grin spread onto his lips. "Well, hi there."
She watched him through narrowed eyes, a hand on her hip, before sliding into the chair across his with a soft sigh. “Hello to you too,” she said grumpily, biting down on her lip slightly to hold back a smile as she jabbed a finger in his direction. “You’re buying me a muffin for that comment.”
