Don't Lose Sight of Love

You think you would never lose sight of life. That you appreciate everything you have. But sometimes you get so caught up in your everyday life, your everyday problems, and your everyday routine....that it's just inevitable. We all lose sight of things at moments in our life.

For me personally, I've blinded myself. I tried to blame the way I'm acting on the stresses in my life. That's unacceptable, to say the least. I've learned that just because something is going badly in my life, doesn't mean I have the right to take it out on the people around me... especially the people that love and care about me.

In four days, me and my girlfriend are going to have been together for two years. I never thought I would take her for granted. Never did I ever think I'd become so content with this relationship....but it happened.

What matters the most is that I recognize what is happening. I see what I have become, and I'm going to fix it.

Yes, I treat her better than many men treat their women, but there are small amounts of times where I do not.

I'm going to fix those times. I have to keep treating her like I'm still trying to get her to love me. Like it's the beginning of our relationship, and I'm doing everything in my power to treat her like the angel that she is. She deserves the purest most positive love because she is an amazing person who is constantly surrounded by negativity from others. The least I can do is bring more positivity and happiness to her life.

I love her, and I'm going to show her that I do.. in every way, every minute of every day.
