Losing a Best Friend
People always talk about how sad and hard it is to lose a boyfriend and how breakups are the worst thing ever. I have to disagree. Losing a best friend is much more painful than a break up. I get that some people date their best friends, and I can’t imagine how painful that must be. But to have a best friend from middle school through college just dump you like you mean nothing, that is more painful than anything I have ever experienced. Like the whole 7 years we had together meant absolutely nothing. I know that I did nothing wrong and that she is the one who pushed me away, but it still hurts.
