Just ordered these samples of a couple Tom Ford fragrances online, and I'm hoping the Lost Cherry one would be a good alternative (from time to time) to the Demeter "Funeral Home" perfume that I started wearing for Undertaker cosplay. Apparently, it smells like the sickly sweet smell of decay plus funeral flowers.
The Fucking Fabulous one I'm getting just because its fragrance description sounded intriguing, plus it was less expensive.
I'll have to report on them once they arrive.

ATEEZ PERFUME REVIEW: TOM FORD — LOST CHERRY
disclaimer: this is not meant to be a serious perfume review; this is something fun for me to do as I love perfume. each and every one of us have different tastes and preferences when it comes to fragrances. what works for me might not work for you, vice versa. I’ll try my best to describe the scents, but I will always suggest for you to go and smell them yourself before purchase. if you want to try these perfumes, please test or get a sample before committing to the bottle. picture credits to all owners.

base — peru balsam, tonka bean, sandalwood, vetiver, cedarwood
my scent experience:
the fragrance opens with a cherry scent. a very boozy and syrupy cherry scent. think of medicinal cherry but with a little bit of alcohol in it which is what I expect a cherry liqueur accord to smell like. as it settles, the cherry scent is still there but there's a sour and almost bitterness to it from the bitter almond note. after the fragrance dries down, it still smells like cherry but there's a warm sweet scent underneath that cherry scent. vanilla is not listed as a note on their website, but that warmth and sweetness is very similar to vanilla. it's a shame that I couldn't smell the rose because I like roses and I think a cherry rose scent sounds divine. this perfume smells like the cherry cough syrup your mom forced you to take as a child.
the projection is moderate at first, but it does simmer down to an intimate scent overtime which is interesting because most cherry fragrances I've used have a strong projection. the longevity isn't that great as it lasted about 2 hours on my skin. this fragrance is notorious for not lasting on the skin at all, so it lives up to its name and for longevity alone, I wouldn't recommend it. I like cherry fragrances, but this isn't my favorite one and there are better and more affordable options in the market.
additional notes from me:
if you couldn't tell, Yeosang is a bit of a Tom Ford fragrance enthusiast as this is the fourth bottle he owns. I personally like a few of Tom Ford's fragrances, but I have yet to find one that makes me want to spend half my paycheck on a bottle. this fragrance is also one I didn't expect Yeosang to own and he himself said it's not a scent he would usually wear, but this proves that some perfumes do surprise you and you might like a scent you wouldn't typically gravitate towards. I encourage you all to smell a fragrance you wouldn't typically go for and who knows? you might surprise yourself.

anyone who likes cherry fragrances.
those who want a fruity fragrance that's sweet and syrupy.
anyone who wants to try out Tom Ford fragrances (private line).
if you've made it to the end, thank you for reading this review!! cherry fragrances had their moment back in 2023, so I've tried a fair share of cherry scents and while this one isn't my favorite, I think it's a good one to try out if you want to explore cherry perfumes.
