“Even you...? That can’t possibly be right!”

"Well I do, of course. And I am you, after all, so I guess so do you." The smirk going across her face was unnaturally calm beneath the golden eyes and silvered hair, the only differences between her mirror-like counterpart. "And so did that double of ours in the mirror, remember her? She at least put up more of a fight."
Half-lidded glare focuses in on the figure before her. Was this another figure coming to haunt her? She knows very well that the darkness had found the cracks in her heart and that it excelled in throwing her weaknesses back at her.
While Aqua is not entirely sure of just what this was in front of her, she knows she doesn’t like it. A premonition of what’s to come? Aqua would do everything in her power to see that it doesn’t come to pass.
❝ If that was the case, then the double would have defeated me. ❞ And yet it didn’t. Aqua was the one to emerge victorious. While she could say more- the mage felt it best to keep things minimal.

She wouldn’t face him...
He couldn’t even tell her where they were, much less when he got there - his head was far too light from traveling the paths connecting worlds to get to this one - where ever that was. The only substance feature that stood out was the clock tower that over looked the city.
He’d been scouring the worlds again, ever since he woke up and he’d been to places he’d never been before all over again. He was tired, exhausted even. Legs and arms grew weak after years of stagnation and mind foggy from the action he’d taken so many years ago in the name of saving his family.
But now... now she was here and they were together again. It’d only been a few weeks but it already felt like a lifetime that he’d been without them. He was doing everything he could to not let tears of happiness spill down his face. \
“Aqua... it doesn’t matter I’ve been looking all over for you.” He paused a small hiccup of emotion in his tone. “But I’m here now. We’re together. Now we can go find Terra and be done with all this. Come on, we need to go find him.”
He spoke as a small hand reached up towards her, ready and willing to wrap his arms around her. It’d been so long since he’d last had her there for comfort and he was sure she needed him just as much now more than ever.
Why couldn’t she face him?

If programs could smell, Rinzler would think this one reeks of darkness. Who needed to have senses like smell, to know what he could plainly see before him. Whether this one was of darkness or merely soaking in it for too long, was of little importance to him. Regardless she needed to be off the Grid.
With caution he approached her. Be she a stray program or User, he needed to take care in getting her off the Grid. Things could get messy and while he was always willing to put up a fight. There was this feeling that he couldn’t shack, telling him to be careful.
❝ You have to go ❞ If he had a heart, he would have said ‘it’s not safe’ Yet speaking a lot was never really his thing.
