Tell Me
Leave a “Tell Me” in my ask, and I’ll write a drabble about my character confessing something to yours
Elijah had beelined to Samson the moment everyone was in the Yard, pulling the angel away from the others and staring up at him as he spoke.“I think I’m in love,” Elijah said this quietly, like he was worried the clouds would hear and tell his secrets to anyone willing to listen.
“It feels like fire and floating, like I’ve just opened my eyes to the beauty of the world for the first time.” Elijah looked down to the dirt, wringing his hands. He bit his bottom lip. “I’ve known love for things but not for another. But I’m scared. I’m scared, Samson, that this is just infatuation.”
It wasn’t spoken, but it was implied: I’m scared what happened to you will happen to me.
