First read this story July 2021 before I even knew much about the Bond fandom + had only b a r e l y dipped.my.toes into 007 Fest, and yet... There was no need to be part of anything official to fall in love with this story. Reading it again this weekend confirmed why it is on so many people's faves list. It's balanced + nuanced; the relationship development + mission aspects of the story are well-developed; and there are a ton of lovely shiny bits. If you haven't read it yet, you're in for a treat.
