Former Celtic, Manchester United and Scotland player Lou Macari also had a successful career in management. When he retired from the game, instead of taking it easy he chose to give something back to a community who had taken him to their hearts.
Lou started the Lou Macari Centre. It gives homeless people in warm, clean place to stay. They provided with food, heat and an address - which helps when applying for work.
Lou has suffered stressful times in the past and personal tragedy. His dedication to help those more unfortunate than himself is a example to us all.
