The small boy, who’d been sitting against the wall and staring off into space, heaved an empty sigh into the air. He was bored, and, if you looked close enough, lonely. He almost felt a bit rejected- everyone was either too busy or just not in the mood to put up with him.

That is, until he saw Kitty not too far away. And right then, his expression completely changed. Perking up, a smile lit up his face as he jumped to his feet and ran over to her, beaming.

"Kitty! I’m glad you’re here!"
