✩ Headcanons - Nega!Louie (Louis) ✩
( - Cunning, Louis is capable (and willing) to lie and manipulate to keep from getting hurt or in trouble. But, he refuses to use his skills to cause others harm or get them unjustly blamed for something. More concerned about self-preservation than material gain, most of his ‘schemes’ pertain to keeping himself as unharmed/in-as-little-trouble as possible. However, that doesn’t mean he isn’t still concerned about getting things that he wants as well.)
( - He still attempts to get things for himself: his cut of treasure, money, snacks/food (Some days he can take what he wants with no hassle, others require him to sneak or swindle junk food because his brothers are in a mood or he is being punished for something he did/did-not-do. He has a stash of snacks hidden for particularly rough days.) But, he is hesitant and careful about doing this. Non-necessary schemes don’t happen as often as the other ones, and he tries to keep them small to prevent himself from being caught.)
( - Constantly has to deal with rowdy brothers, less-than-kind family members/friends, and the Evil Scientist who has taken him under his wing... Louis is often alert/paranoid for whatever danger might be next. Whether it be life-threatening adventures, evil inventions turning on him yet again, or simply being framed for trouble his siblings made (Causing him to either: prove he didn’t do it, take the fall, or bluff his way out without blaming them- two out of three options aren’t exactly favorable) Not the bravest person in the world, Louis prefers to spend his time safely relaxing. A luxury he takes advantage of whenever he can.)
( - Preferring to get things done the easiest way possible, he is always looking for shortcuts... Aside from having others do the work for him. He is fully willing to find the path that takes the least amount of effort, but it has to be a path that he takes. Despite being more than capable of sweet-talking someone into doing everything for him.)
( - He genuinely loves his family and friends, despite being the oddball of the group. Dubbed the Good triplet, even at his worst, he isn’t nearly as bad as those around him. When he tries to be mean, it is done half-heartedly and his words/actions aren’t exactly devastating. He has a habit of mouthing-off when aggravated, muttering less-than-flattering comments under his breath. They slip out before he has a chance to stop them, much to his regret... Louis would like to fit in better with his family, he just doesn’t have the heart to stoop down to their level. To be fair, they’re not keen on adopting his point of view either.)
( - Like Louie, Louis is sensitive and prone to crying. Unlike Louie, he does not feel comfortable crying in front of anyone. Regardless of if he is close with them or not, because past experiences show that it doesn’t end well... Whether it is being mocked or ‘playfully roughed up’ for being a crybaby, being vulnerable isn’t something that is encouraged. Unfortunately, Louis cries very easily (the stress of not wanting to cry could be making the tears come faster) He is usually successful in keeping the tears just brimming in his eyes, but they’re guaranteed to spill when he is being scolded for something that he actually did.)
( - Like his counterpart, he adores puzzle games, learning about business (in a way that interests him) treasure, junk food (something that is a bit more challenging to get than it is for Louie) and fashion. Despite not liking to be scruffy or be dirty, Louis normally looks rather rough. Feathers messier than he’d like, hoodie ripped, and at least one bruise adorning his face at all times; Louis has given up on trying to look any better than that. Occasionally he likes to get dolled up in a suit, but it is usually ruined quickly... or he is teased for it.)
