Brewery three, Pivot. I was unaware this Lexington Brewery had opened a tap room in Louisville until last week. Now I know.
Drinking an English ale they've named The Winchester. If you've seen Shaun of the Dead you get it.
On the way to Pivot. Darlings is a gin joint and a darling but opens later. El Mundo is a Louisville staple and I've never been. Maybe later.

https://audiomack.com/est-gee/album/i-still-dont-feel-nun “I Still Dont Feel Nun” is probably one of the most impressive projects to drop this fall. EST Gee is a Louisville, Kentucky native that has definitely been under the radar because his project isn’t being talked about enough. Aside from the solid features, EST Gee’s flow is a dope one that compliments these hi-hat type trap beats. Let us…

The Barrelhouse on Market St is a new iteration in an old location. Previously it was Levee Bar, a local dive bar I never visited. Located as it was against the concrete wall river levee in Jeffersonville, its name made perfect sense then. Now it trades on the popularity of bourbon and though there is bourbon and even barrel staves here, it in no way competes with the half a dozen local places emphasizing bourbon as custom.
It is however, the best mixed drink establishment in Jeffersonville and competes ably with the two other establishments on the sunny side, Brooklyn and the Butcher and The Exchange, in that regard. In fact, having “Last Word,” Vieux Carré, Sazerac, Negroni, and Boulevardier on the menu make it my favorite drink menu in the Louisville Metro area. Who knew?!!!
On Saturday night, D and I popped in and were delighted.
